Support Environmental Literacy in Oregon

Three Ways to Give:

1.)   We are starting a Community Field of Interest Fund at the Oregon Community Foundation in October.  We will have $47,000 in the account, but will need another $3,000 to get it to the minimum of $50,000 that we need to start drawing interest on the account that we can use. There will be a fund committee that will decide on distribution of those funds based on the OELP guidelines in the contract.

How to Donate: Send Checks to:

Oregon Community Foundation

1221 SW Yamhill St.
Suite 100
Portland, OR 97205

Checks payable to: Oregon Community Foundation– in subject line: Oregon Environmental Literacy Program, and you can also enclose a letter.

2.)   OSU Foundation.  We now have an account here that people can donate $ to. We currently have about $47,000 in this account and will be using it to hire a part-time educational program assistant.  $$’s donated can donated for implementation of the OELP or can specify a purpose, such as a project.

3.)   Oregon Outdoor School Coalition has a website with a donor option on the site (we will work at getting one on the OELP site as well.)  OELP and the OOEC currently have a $30,000 challenge grant from OFRI and we are actively looking for donors to contribute to this before Dec. 31.  Carolyn Fitchett is holding donor events to raise support and awareness of ODS for all as well as raise the matching.
